8:00 AM Pick-up from the bus office or your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Start your journey to Cat Ba Island.

11:30 AM Arrive at Cat Ba. You’ll have free time to get lunch in town before the adventure begins.

12:30 Meet your guides at the Cat Ba Climbing office and get equipment for the day
1:00 Transportation to Ben Beo Harbor
1:10 Cruise through the Floating Village and try to spot the critically endangered Cat Ba Langur before traveling out to the heart of Lan Ha Bay
1:50 Guides will do a quick safety briefing and explain what to expect for the day. Get ready for your first climb and jump of the day!
2:00-5:00 Climbing a Sea Face and Three Brothers

5:00 Start the return trip to Ben Beo
5:40 Transportation from the harbor to the Cat Ba Climbing office

5:45 Celebrate the day, share photos, and enjoy a free drink

Sea Face

Start off building confidence in your climbing above the water and warm up with some easier routes and traverses. Every step of the way, our experienced guides will oversee the safety of the group and provide coaching, ensuring you're fully prepared to enjoy the climb—and the leap! Then the group will progressively move to more challenging routes and boulder style problems.

Sea Face features around 25 routes, ranging in difficulty from 4a to 7c, with most falling between 5a and 6b.
For those who prefer to stay closer to the water, there are also traverse routes with lower jumping points
Note: Durning low tides or with more beginner oriented groups we may spend the entire time climbing at this wall.

The Three Brothers Wall (tide and group dependent)

After exploring Sea Face, the adventure continues as we cruise to our second climbing spot - Three Brothers. This wall features a wide variety of lines and is suited for climbers looking to push their limits, while still having enough beginner friendly climbs.

Features around 18 routes, graded from 4+ to 7c+, expect more technical climbs, power moves, and higher jumps.
Whether you're working on endurance, technique, or simply looking for that adrenaline rush, Three Brothers delivers the perfect combination of challenge and stunning scenery.

After returning to the Cat Ba Climbing office you are encouraged to enjoy a shower at the office and grab a Banh Mi next door.
6:30 PM: Start the return trip to Hanoi with a private taxi + speedboat combo

9:30-10:00PM : Arrive in Hanoi
